WHAT TO EXPECT ON A SUNDAY
We have Sunday service at 10:00am. The worship service typically lasts an hour with a combination of prayer, praise, and the preaching of God's Word. The messages seek to be faithful to the Bible, gospel-centered, and applicable to everyday life. Our goal is to help people learn what it means to follow Christ and to impact the world with the gospel. You are invited to stay for coffee and pastries immediately following worship.
We celebrate communion the first Sunday of each month.
Children are an important part of the life of OPCC -- including our worship. While there is a “crying room” and nursery care available for all services, children are welcomed and included in our worship. After the opening part of each service, children are invited to come down and gather on the chancel stairs with the pastor. There, the pastor talks directly with the children, often using props and sharing stories that relate to the theme of the day. After which, the children are invited go to Sunday school classes, grades K through 8, where they have a time of sharing, crafts and Christian Education. (September - June)
